Windrunner sent the final textures today ... they look great! I'll be about a week getting her ready for beta testing and hopefully get her released by end of month. :jump:

Unbelievable!........... But very believable in a community such as ours where such talented designers freely share their blood, sweat, and tears... My hat is off to you, Milton, and all the others who are making this project happen. I feel very fortunate to be a small part of this wonderful community....:applause::applause::applause::applause::applause::applause:

Thanks everyone. Scott Thomas, Damian Radice, and Tom Falley have done yeoman's work on this one. And Lawdog's sounds are great as well.

Back when I started this project I asked about cannon and machine gun effects. Generally, I think most FS9 users are not interested in neutered guns and effects in FS9. No one offered or showed interest so I left the Grizzly neutered as an experimental or as a air show aircraft would be.

That doesn't take a lot away from this extraordinary aircraft in FS9 however. She a sweety in the air and great to look at from outside or inside. She's not a payware quality product in today's terms but she is one of those aircraft that you will enjoy flying for a long time, hopefully.

I sent out a pre-beta package to the team earlier today. We are shooting for a Saturday, April 25th release.

I can't wait!!! :engel016: She looks really nice. Especially in that shot in the air on one engine. Most of my best flyers are freeware including the D-18S and the Howard. Again... Beautiful work!:ernae:

Sweetness Milton. I'd just as soon the guns be beutered Milton,. There is no need having a gun fire if there is no reaction from the projectiles being fired at the other end, that's my POV. FS2004 was not meant to be a Combat Sim.

As sure as the sky is blue....this plane will see use in CFS2, where it will have working guns and bombs!

T'wil be a team effort to get the Griz flying and fighting right in CFS2. I have no skills for air files, so that will need to be handled by someone who knows how to do that. DP files I can do. Regauging the 2D and VC panels I can do. Converting the MDL to CFS2 I can do...thanks to Ivan's MDLC and Morton's MDLC Windows interface!!!!!
