Still Piddlin' ... "The Grizzly"

[Insert foot tapping icon here...] :d

Any word on the flying "75mm can-opener"?

I know, it'll be ready when it's ready. I'm cool with that. Just curious...

Is it done yet?

Is it done yet?
:ernae:

The honorable Mr Shupe would be the one to answer that question, but however "soon" it is, it will be worth the wait, Milton et al. at their best!

Cheers: Tom

LOL Guys. Textures are ready ... the flight model is ready ... the sounds are ready ... the panel and gauges are ready ... the five different models are almost ready (tweaks) ... the packaging for the beta is not. Awaiting some readme's but she will go out Sunday for beta with or without. I plan to release her May 2nd, next Saturday.

Here are some screenshots of the versions, AAF, Civilian, Ferry, Experimental, and Navy.

I am definitely ready Milton! What a huge accomplishment with the relatively little real information out there concerning this aircraft, Cheers! Mike :)

Thanks for the nice comments. The team cranked out this one with limited information and data and I do think you will like it. My appreciation goes out to the named and unlisted contributors here and in the credits, and to all of you for your encouragement over the months.

Milton

The Griz looks amazing! Another work of art to your credit, and to the credit of the team of top notch talent you recruited for this project!

The Civilian Grizzly is drop dead sexy! High speed executive transport. Unarmed aerial recon plane. Long Range Racer. Lots of possibilities for that one.

The sky is the limit for skins for the Griz. Since it never made it into production, there is no worry about skins not being historically correct...which opens the door for all us skinners to have fun with our crayons and imagination. Dark Blue Korean-era Navy, gloss Black Korean-era, RAF camo will look amazing on the Griz. VVS (Russian), Korean-era Royal Navy colors ala the Sea Fury.

May 2nd? Awesome, that's my Birthday, and I couldn't think of a better present than a gift from Milton and Crew! Can't wait!

Holy moly. That ship is sweet. You know, the cockpit reminds me of the P-61: Big, single seat mounted on the centerline, twin engine. I like the civilian verserion too.

Mr. Shupe: Looks like another excellent piece of work from you and your crew! I can't even imagine what's involved with doing something like this - my hat's off to everyone!!!

Looking forward to next Saturday..

Bill

Almost nothing left for me to say...
It's incredible! :applause:

May I humbly suggest to lock this gorgeous team into a nice workroom and set them up onto a comtemporary Lockheed Electra ? :icon_lol:

Can't get enough of tiny taildraggin' twins... :bump:

Cheers,
Markus.
