Stock P-38J/L overhaul, ETO, MTO & Pacific

This project was put on a hold very abruptly last Saturday - I got wheeled to the hospital with mild stroke symptoms, not kidding. The work continues as soon as I get back home again but at the moment there are quite a few other things for me to think about.

Dude!! That's quite a scare, man! Hope it proves to be just symptoms and it turns out to be something innocent. Take care!!

Goodness, that kind of thing will shake you. I'll pray for a solid recovery for you. Take it easy and hang in there.

Things are looking mighty fine at the moment. The symptoms were very short lived and I haven't noticed any remaining side effects, the simple fact that I'm typing this in a foreign language tells a lot already. The failed spin recovery followed by a crash landing on my living room floor wasn't meant to be the end of my journey, I literally walked away just minutes later.

Unusual for a young man like you. I believe Finland has a great medical set up so I hope you will have all the tests necessary; also for your heart if A-fib is suspected.

I had an incident like that myself and I thought it was a stroke too! Turned out to be a temporary inner ear issue (I was on a dive trip). Never came back. Hope it ends up the same for you.

I've had something similar happen with stress, which caused dehydration and not enough sleep. Hope your situation is cleared up just as easily with some R&R.:ernaehrung004:
