Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

PROJECT VIPER IS OFFICIALLY IN-SIM!

This is a major milestone for the team — the first builds of Project Viper have now been completed, and the aircraft is officially flying in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024!

With the core aircraft now in-sim, work can properly begin on bringing it to life. Over the coming weeks we'll be diving into systems, animations, textures and all the little details that will eventually turn this early build into the finished aircraft.

And we really do mean early.

The screenshot you're looking at is an incredibly early work-in-progress build. Very little of what you see represents the quality, materials, textures or overall finish of the final product — but we couldn't resist finally showing Viper where it belongs.

There's a lot still to do, but it's great to see it sitting on the ramp for the first time.

We hope you like this very first glimpse of Project Viper in-sim!

Personally more interested in the Strikemaster. YMMV. Saw the Viper Team once at a RNLAF Air Day, but that was many moons ago.

Some shots of the exterior and update from the Discord channel.

Hi all, I’m sure this post is one you’ve all been waiting for while also marking a huge milestone in the project.

Firstly the underlining reason for this post is to announce that i have officially completed the exterior base textures for the strikemaster, after a few more tweaks from bits here and there i will then be progressing onto the JP but this is a huge step for the project as we are overcoming a big part of the strikey, we know you’re all eager to know which will be in the package but that’s going to be kept under wraps for the time being but i’m sure more schemes will be announced between now and the release
