It already has on the official forums! Apparently some of the (long overdue) default aircraft updates will be made when SU4 is seen to be stable, which means that patches may be needed first...

Stutters and pauses very much improved. Plane's panel instruments immediately available, complete and active. Looking forward to seeing other improvements.

Well, I'll moan a bit. The sim ran very smoothly (no stutters or freezes) up until this evening. After SU4 installation (I did rename my community folder, and apparently the sim disabled all of my marketplace content, too), I have weird sound drops in the menus and a series of three severe freezes every few minutes during flights. So, freeze-freeze-freeze, then a few minutes of very smooth flight, then freeze-freeze-freeze. Yeesh.

I was really enjoying the sim, and I was really looking forward to this update, but it is, so far, a serious step backward for me. This evening, for the first time since switching to 2024, I'm thinking about launching 2020.

Nice to see Canada gets a 4 GB update of new photogrammetry cities and updated airports. Don't forget to look through "My Library" in the menu to see if there are updates available for you.

Turns out my freezes were solved by deleting my shaders cache and updating to the newest Nvidia drivers. Smooth as silk again. Now, the long process of re-enabling all of my addons one at a time and testing for issues.

I have found that some aircraft/repaints that worked fine in SU3 are crashing the sim or causing severe stutters in SU4. Have you got anything in your community folder? If so, clear it and see if the crashes go away. Also, for some reason for me the Aviator MSFS 2020 aircraft are crashing the sim. I had to disable them and I'm in the process of re-enabling them one at a time to try to find the culprit. Same process with my (unfortunately extensive) community folder.
