Incredible pictures there, some of the best I've ever seen of Alaska!!! Unfortunate his adventures had to end....![]()
All of our adventures end at some point. At least he had a helluva ride along the way.His life was too short, agreed, but what a time he had.
Hey Charles. . .here's an idea. . .shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, lol.I bought the STANDARD version. I like the model. It looks great. Cockpits great. I worry it did not install right. I am flying level at 150kts. Something is amiss! It almost as fast as my Mooney!
It goes to overspeed insanely quick. Any ideas?
Charles.
Hi Bjørn,
At 75% power (approx 2300 rpm) you should find yourself at or just below 100 mph.

Any Cub that has that kind of speed. . .you can always lower your RPM's a bit and cruise along at 110 or so and feel better about it, lol.:salute:

Thanks for the quick response. I now know that the problem is only in the planes with one fuel tank...L-18 & 95hp. The ball remains at the bottom of the gauge with any level of fuel. All other planes indicate correct levels in both tubes. No big problem.... I bought the whole package and have lots of Cubs to fly. I'll just pay closer attention to miles flown when I'm in the little ones. You won't see any level until you've used up a quarter of your fuel or so, and then you'll see the fuel-lever indicator balls floating in the tubes. Then you'll have a clearer idea of how much fuel you have left. When the tanks are full, the balls are hidden up at the top end of those tubes.

I think you are correct. When the HD crashed in at Christmas, I have the feeling the backup service replaced the airfiles of the Standard with an earlier beta version. If you (and anyone else who would like them) will email me at the support email, I'll send you the correct airfiles. Sorry about that.
In the meantime, I'll update the packages.
