When I was learning to fly back in the 70s, $16.00 per hour covered my Cessna 150 including the instructor.The Navy flying club at NAS Agana, Guam had one too, the T-34B.

Is that what it cost back then? I can't remember. I learned to fly in 1964-65. I washed airplanes and pumped gas to pay for flight time.
