Hey Pekka,

Goodness.. I found a typo in the aircraft config file. I just checked that and the plane wasnt showing up. Now that is wierd as I tested it...

I have a new 'aircraft.cfg' file uploaded that you can drop into the Tailwind W10 folder;

My apologies. I swear it was working yesterday afternoon. I was flying it!

Actually, still no beans - in my install, the "texture.retro" folder was not even created!

The Red livery with the black-and-white checkers that is featured on your website also did not install.
 
Just bought it and downloaded, will check this little beauty out tonight, certainly looking forward to getting home! :ernae:
 
Mon-o-man Bill, this baby is really cool, and the price was so nice, I even went ahead and installed Tongass today as well...helped that I received a check from a client today....:mixedsmi:

Just put a smile on my face, as homely as the darn thing is from some angles...:173go1:

One question though, in your manual, you showed an S-TEC 30 AP/Turn Coordinator in one of the W-8 panels shots (below the throttle/mixture). Is this part of one of the packages? I looked around but could not find it.....already stuffed the RXP 430 in the NAV/COM 1 slot, and it works great.

What a sweet heart! I did some stalls and slips on the first flight. It kept me on my toes but not alarmed. One quibble: If it's in the book or on the panel, I don't see it. The battery died before I got the runway on the first flight. No generator or alternator?

Any ETA on a workable Vista 64 version? Am eager to buy but am holding off since I've got the wrong OS...

Same happened to me Glenn. On my second quick jaunt, everything seemed fine. Odd.

Hey Glenn,

The alternator is in there. Should be pumping out 13.8 volts and 40 amps.

Make sure you didnt save over a cold start plane that has a different switch system. That might have done it. You can have different battery switch codes and not effect the aircraft electrical system on a diff plane.

CTD when selecting any of the light switches in the VC.
 
I have to tell you all.. I have been finalizing this for the past 3 weeks. She has been running perfect on my computer. No CTD's reported from my tester team. Only issues of accelleration, which I took care of.

For those that have missing folders, I just checked the files in the installer and behold.. Missing folders.

I use my own folders to transfer into the compiler section. I copy/pasted two at a time last night. I wonder if I overdid it and the system just couldnt do it and left out entire folders.

I am compiling the newest installer and will make sure all components are in there. Bare with me as I get things all rebuilt.

Got it fixed. Looks the Exe when installed to my FSX E drive somehow for a Gaugesound dll and the LHC sound, hum. Not sure But i think it might be related to how my FSX is installed with Windows 7 as my Fs9 works just right. Ran the Exe to a MS dump folder reinstalled Perfect it works.

My default flight is the stock C172, G1000, with a cold and dark panel. This came up on another panel some time ago. I set up a key stroke to switch the generator/alternator - Ctr-G in the controls config. That worked. I think there was a setting in aircraft.cfg that would also in effect set the generator to always on - I even remember which airplane - not one of yours.
