    Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

    You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

    If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

    To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

I like it! It would be neat to end up with the full set of aircraft from both movies and then organize a mass MP event! I haven't actually seen either of the movies, just clips on YouTube, but I definitely want to see the Fire and Rescue one, it looks hilarious.

Milton did the FDE we are currently using which is basically whatever AirWrench spat out and then tweaked a bit. It's not bad but another set of experienced eyes would be appreciated. I will shoot you a PM and thanks for the offer.

It is something that is sadly lacking nowadays called friendship, teamwork and group effort.

I second the above request for South East Asia/Vietnam textures...and is it possible to have one of the models a AC-119 gunship version?

Textures could probably be accommodated but changing the aircraft to an AC-119 would take an awful lot of work as it would mean significant changes to the exterior model (guns and gun ports, smoke ventilation systems, flare systems, search light, etc.), the interior model (a total rework of the interior cargo area to add all the gunship components) and the VC to build in the various systems and gun sights, etc. It has taken two years to get this far due to various reasons and doing all the above could add another year to the project before it gets released. I very much doubt that I would consider doing an AC-119 until after all the other projects I have on my plate are completed and that could be years away the way things have been going recently.
