Team Outhouse 2012 RTWR Practice 2 Race Thread

ETE 1:00. I'm really high up in the air, but yet the ground seems very close to my plane...

At least you will be landing 5,000 ft lower than you started. :icon_lol:

Which sim are you in Paul? Weather at destination is very windy at the moment.

Current WX is clear, 50 miles vis., wind 23 Kts out of 263° magnetic. Rwy 28 is probably the best bet but there is a small ridge and a couple of trees close to the threshold.

If you go online I can act as a spotter if you need it.

Pam, with all those FSX freeze ups I think you may have some corrupt files which can only be fixed with a clean install of FSX. By that I mean if you run FSX on a separate drive then I would do a reformat of that drive and do a clean install of FSX.

I know I had a similar problem and the only way I fixed it was a clean install.

Just my opinion.

NOTAM

All race pilots please see the routing thread in the 'Hideout' for suggested changes to the route to better fit the requirements.

Been trying to exhaust all other possibilities first.. but yeah.. i'll give it two more days of exploration before i do a clean install... Its very frustrating to not be able to do a flight..

Similar thing was happening to me. Turned out to be a scenery issue.

Uninstall all 3rd party scenery addons if you have any and see how you go from there.

Thanks CPutters
I had a suspicion thats what it was so i did that. Didnt actually uninstall them but disabled them. My real suspicion is that its a memory issue thats cropping up. I hope not. I cant afford memory right now.. i need to do more testing though to be sure..
