I will be a late starter, as I am on vacation in my sailboat with only a Mobile "Broadband" connection and no game PC on board.

I have started the planning though.

Planned start around 28 june.

EKCH-EHAM, Going for start in Amsterdam

TOW: 41,391 kgs = 91,267 lbs (1 kg = 2.205 lbs)
Payload: 9,524 kgs = 21,000 lbs
Fuel on Board = 3200 kgs = 7,056 lbs

All this from FSX Fuel & Payload dialog.

Congratulations on the shakedown cruise.

Real DC-6B pilots will chime in on the joys of fuel management. Here is a start. In the VC you will see a set of icons on the left side of the panel. The one with "wings" is the pedestal. You can pop it up by clicking on the icon.

On the top left of the "popup pedestal" you will see the four throttles. Next is a smaller lever with a red handle labeled "T". That lever switches your fuel tanks from MAIN to AUX to OFF. On the far right are your Cross-Feed levers. (As far as I know, these fuel-flow controls are not in the VC itself.) Hope this helps.

Thanks I found them. Now I feel in better shape for the longer legs.

Fuel on Board = 2113 kgs = 4659 lbs

Edit: By night.

Landing weight FS : 39,676 kgs = 87,455 lbs
Landing Weight Duenna: 87,472 lbs
Fuel used FS = 40,756 - 39,676 = 1080 kgs = 2,381 lbs
Fuel Used Duenna 2361.6 lbs

Flight time Duenna = 1:01:30

No it wasn't, and yes, I know.
I'm trying to set up for LFPB-LIML, but my PC is cranky.
Will you be able to join?

Lfpb-liml

TOW: 40395 kgs = 89,071 lbs (1 kg = 2.205 lbs)
Payload: 9,976 kgs = 22,000 lbs
Fuel on Board = 1754 kgs = 6073 lbs

Night flight

Crashed at landing

I made a calculation error with the fuel.
Engines stopped at approx 1500ft AAL, I got them restarted, but did not manage to make a proper landing.

I will give figures later.

We will try once more another day.

To Race commitee: How will this flight count ?
I did finish and crashed at landing, but the engines stoped on fiiinal approach.

The error count en-route is due to engine stopped due to low fuel.
They were restarted but I failed the landing.

Landing weight FS : ?????
Landing Weight Duenna: 85,535 lbs
Fuel used FS ???
Fuel Used Duenna 3503 lbs
Fuel at landing was 1%.
I miscalculated 1000 kg (adding error, was too fast in the planning).

Flight time Duenna = 1:44:00

Crash penalty 2 hrs.

"A crash on landing completes the flight right there without restarting. Simply post the
Duenna files while announcing the "crash landing" to be recorded in your logbook."

Jock- Thinking no need to refly leg as close as you were to landing. You can continue on with just the 2 hr penalty added. At the very worst you gave the passengers something to send a postcard home about.:engel016:

Will pass along to the others in the committee just to be sure.
