Well Milton your commitment is really breathtaking, everyone of your models is wonderful to fly and nicely build! :applause:
I'm looking forward seeing more pictures of the new Dash-7! ^^

May I ask you which other aircrafts you want to lunch? And if possible a Short Skyvan would be fine too, due to the turboprop fraction.

Best regards,
Elmar

Thanks Elmar. See this thread for some of the WIP projects:

My focus for the balance of 2012 will be wrapping up the Grumman Seven(6-8 weeks), the Dash -7 (8 weeks), the XP47 (VC mainly left to do), the Avia 56 (almost ready), the Avia 57, the Lockheed Harpoon (2 versions), and the Lodestar (2 versions). That should carry me into the Fall months anyhow.

I always wanted a fuel burner. When will it be finished? I agree with your dazed friend above.

The model is done. I need someone to do textures. Several have volunteered but none have delivered :-/ ) So, I gave up on it.

Looking Good, Milton. I have the original Dash-7 and quite a few repaints for it. Nice to see that you are putting a new one together. :applause::salute: Now, on the subject of that dragster.... :isadizzy:LOL!!

See previous response. You would think that out of interest of driving a car that would do 380MPH in the 1/4 mile, someone would be interested to slap some paint on it! :) heck I did this in one hour in MSPaint. LOL

The Dash 7 exterior mapping now done, slapped on a base texture and sent to the paint shop.

Now to add some cargo to the interior model and that should hold things for awhile.

Looks great

Co-incidentally a whole raft of repaints for the previous version drifted through flightsim a day or so ago!
I linked painter Chris to this thread, so hopefully we'll have some early work on the new texture map!

Mike Kelly is painting her up for me as we prepare to paint the Dash 7 and do a paint kit.

The dragster is a handful to keep straight once the tree turns green. Takes about 4 seconds and Bam! 380MPH ... hit the "chute" and drag the brakes.

Thanks; will be awhile before there is a paint kit ready, then "Katy, bar the door!"

sweet.........

What's sweet is seeing the smile on my face as I have been testing Bernt Stolle's new flight model. She operates right to the manual, at least for the things I have tested so far. All phases of flight .... just awesome!

This afternoon I was testing speeds at altitude, standard day, weight category, torque settings ... sweet! Turn rates, climb, lift, drag, pitch, yaw, flaps effects, speeds, it is all good!

Found out I "might" be transitioning to -7's real world. Flew yours in FS9 and just got the current version in FSX. Looks like you have plenty of help with this as far as real world numbers.

That sounds great! I did not know there were any still flying in the states. :applause:

Most brilliant.

Looking forward to the paintkit, and the plane which is still, after all those years,
one of the firm favorites to fly.
One can't go wrong with four big buldering engines.

Knowing Mr Stolle does the FDE I know it's gonna be great.

Milton, I loved your old FS2002/4 versions and still fly these regularly. They are superb.
So, I'm not sure why you think the Dash7 needs updating! FSX, I guess but will it run in FS9 also?
And finally, can we have a London City Airways livery?

The Dash 7 upgrade is for FS9 and will prt to FSX.

90% of the changes are improvements to the exterior model, plus an all new flight model, and a cargo interior, with minor changes to the cockpit. Panel and gauges remain the same.

I see trees of green,
and a cargo hatch too ..... :medals:

Milton, just brilliant ! Looking forward to it !

Ha, you bet ! I just finished a fictional Aer Lingus paint for the old lady ..... and then ceased operations until the new lass flies in .........

It´ll take a little time to redo all my repaints (just counted them: 129) for the new model, but Rome wasn´t built in a day either .......... just hope, the empennage will be true to scale to the rest of the plane, that´ll speed up the paintings a lot.

In brief: As soon, as the lady rolled out, I stopped drooling and there´s a paint kit, I´ll go full speed ahead :salute:

Chafing at the bit

Chris

Edit: JoHubb, I´ll do my very best ! :)

If the model is kept tidy, a native conversion shouldn't be too hard to do.

Great job so far in any case!

Also, for FSX compatibility, the engine starters need a rework (unless this was already solved).

Well, can you explain the "tidy" part? :kilroy:

Silent running, eh ?

OK, here we go:

ti·dy, adj. ti·di·er, ti·di·est
1. Orderly and neat in appearance or procedure
2. Informal Adequate; satisfactory
3. Informal Substantial; considerable

to 1. : definitely yes
to 2. : more than that
to 3. : even better

Sorry, couldn´t resist .......:icon_twi:
