Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

This is really a great freeware jet from the 50's. I attached the edited gtlf file to remove the boot. It was a small typo, a 1 instead of an I, i, like in eye! Just download the zip file and overwrite the old one found in the model folder.

It's Rob Carrich's plane, available in the SOH Resources center:

It's a 2020 plane, but works well enough in 2024. If you want to add rockets, you'll need GotFriends freeware
Legacy Weights and Balance mod. I haven't flown it for some time in 2024, so I've forgotten what doesn't work.

Thanks. I should have it, but couldn't remember who's it was. I kep everything inventoried by author.

How did I never notice the boot before?

I guess I was distracted by the Pride drop tanks. :)

All cleared up now (and just disable the tanks to get rid of the rainbow connection; I just didn't have GF legacy weight and balance loaded). Thanks much!

Try running the MSFSLayoutGenerator in each paint with the problem of the rainbow tanks and rockets and that should clear it.

Do we really need this and if so, where does it go?
Google AI:
In Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, your exported .gltf files do not go into the game's final directory directly. Instead, they must be placed inside your uncompiled project source folders (PackageSources). When you build the package using the in-game developer mode or the fspackagetool, the simulator will compile your .gltf into the final layout structure.
