FS2002/FS2004 Blohm & Voss BV142 V2/U1. This was a German civil aircraft developed for the transatlantic air mail service, originally designed for the German national airline Lufthansa. The first prototype was flown on 11 October 1938. Soon after the start of World War II, it was proposed to convert all four prototype BV142 to long-range maritime patrol aircraft. The BV142 V2, thus underwent a trial modification. By Kazunori Ito.

Thanks

Bless 'im, he does go for some wonderfully exotic subjects. Looks like another winner. :applause:

Now if I could just find some decent 3 views of the Vickers Windsor and the Warwick to send him ..... well, you never know.

Cross another off the list. Got something you want done? Wait a little bit, Ito-san will have it available shortly...

Try this on for size...

It seems that Ito-San made the FDE for this one out of one for a B-29... I have it flying pretty nicely, though it needs lots of negative trim on the elevator, and it has a bit of a nose-down attitude in level flight, kind of like the RAF Whitley bomber...

To add to the make-over, I gave it a Banana Bob 3-blade prop, and ditched the soundset in favor of a set made by Lawdog for 2,3, or 4 Bramo radials that I was using in a Condor...

Enjoy! -Mike Z.

Thanks Mike!
Now all we need is a painter who is willing to replace the somewhat gaudy colors with the correct RLM hues.:icon_lol:

- H52

I can have a go, I'm not really a painter but I've got hundreds of what-if paints going on Mr Itos models

I'm terrible at doing panel lines so they're pretty rough and even worse at weathering so it has none :kilroy: ( I have the Org layered files if anyone wants to do panels and weathering)

Got the colors from the Luftwaffe swatch on Simmers Paint shop for 1938-45 maritime camouflage, upper-lower surfaces

And the generic markings are from a KG40 Fw-200

Thanks

VERY NICE, Voodoo! Will you be uploading the skin to SOH?

- H52
