    Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

    You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

    If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

    To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

Our incredible talent here at SOH will no doubt be the leading force producing liveries for the old girl and a convenient repository would be helpful. This is my first post here after 11 years of being a SOH member. Now I live in Switzerland and am a big fan of the DC6 and of Balair and Swissair. Now I have a paint request for PMDG DC6 FS2020. It would be very nice if my wish comes true. I feel you! I have done some skins racing sims in GIMP2 but that doesn't seem to understand the layers. All the paintkit files show as single layer files for me. Almost started a Photoshop subscribtion in my lunch break but I hope I might find a different solution. What tools are you guys using?

American Airlines Pax Skin

Hey Jan,

Thanks for doing these! I have about a million of your paints for FSX etc and have always appreciated your work.

If you ever get the chance, I’d love to see the passenger version of the American Airlines DC-6. I love that Orange and aluminum scheme.

Mackey International Airlines would be a GREAT one to do. Famous OLD airline, eventually bought out by Eastern.

There's an American passenger paint on Flightsim.to now, but for some reason it's far more gray than silver. Really missing that shiny look that makes the classic AA scheme one of the best ever, IMHO.
