• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Chris, this is new to me, and I can find nothing about it on the net. (or anywhere else for that matter !)

It looks like it has Curtiss JN-4 roots, and Spain had a few of those - is it a mod ?

@lefty: there is a note in "Aviones Espanoles del siglo XX"

Sousa Mixto

Had to work backward on this. It looked remarkably like the interior of the Tillamook Air Museum... hmm, what do they have new since my last visit... aha!
Cvjetkovic CA-65 Skyfly

There's an entry in Wikipedia w/photo, no pic on the museum website.
OK, am I weird because I recognize walls of a building I haven't seen in years?

(Not my photo) https://th.bing.com/th/id/R8e5eecfe39c92e17c7156070077dc319?rik=sA%2fPJFW1PV9uLg&riu=http%3a%2f%2fblog.goodsam.com%2fwp-content%2fuploads%2f2019%2f05%2fRallis-Tribe-Tillamook-2_web.jpg&ehk=VHfYwTPVEruA%2fp%2bNpIFop2vmQ7ej081Zw2MxCKNIE%2fw%3d&risl=&pid=ImgRaw

BTW, the museum website is not great but a Google/Bing image search will show how impressive the building is!

Edit: srgalahad was faster, shouldn't have written so much. :very_drunk:

@lefty and all: A bit more about the Sousa Mixto with Chris' picture can be found in this pdf (in Spanish) on page 33 (longer download):
