The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Well I think the board is still open - here's another that won't last long, but is a real oddball that I don't think has appeared in this forum before....

It probably never appeared here because it was never actually built... All I've seen of this aircraft are scale models.

It appears you're right, Ferry - didn't realise this design had dragged on for so long. I have nothing on tap just now, so let's have one from the Dutch vaults.............

Sorry Mike, nothing here to post either. Did buy some new books but I still haven't installed my scanner since the last computer crash and reinstall..

:icon29: To DHC2 on the Boulton Paul. Thought it might have lasted a little longer.

Yes it is! Pretty amazing what you can do with a twin-engined Cessna Skymaster!

Rgr that. I don't understand some of these GA conversions. What is to be gained by a single turboprop Skymaster with fixed gear? :isadizzy:

Correct on both counts, Naki. I blew it with the Ayres - didn't check my facts - not too good on 'modern' stuff ! (We have a sort of rule here that says anything posted must have flown, even for a few feet).

Over to Kiwiland. :icon29:

Probably won't last long...........

Looks like the I.Ae.33 Pulqui II from Argentina

(My PC works again and is like new, next is getting a new scanner installed).

That looks like a Cessna in the background so I'm assuming it's from the USA. Rutan had a lot of designs where the nosewheel only would retract.

Name me an airfield anywhere in the world where you won't find a Cessna ! I made the same assumption too but I'm beginning to wonder........

Sorry my friends, not USA.
The first example flew in 1973 and the second one in 1976 and the country is in Europe. :bump:

Sorry Mike, not the M-17 although it has a very similar configuration.
This one came from the bottom shoe box and was waiting to be posted.
PS: Geographically the M-17`s birth country is very close.

Please meet Kora.
The Kora was built by the (W) German company of Kortenbach & Rau KG.
