Correct, you can scratch Bulgaria from the list. This one has characteristics found in several models produced by this manufacturer.
 
It has some French and Russian elements in it. Such a common design though. Makes it hard to stand out.
 
There are a few peculiarities - 10-cyl(?) motor in the nose, 5-cyl in (not under) the wings.

Also a very modern-looking windscreen. Am stuck here....

Macchi MC.99??? I don't have a pic of the 99, but your photo looks almost identical to the C.200, but with only 2 engines. The description of the 99 matches.
