The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

It's MM249, the first prototype Breda Ba 64.

Looks like they pinched a prop from an old SE5A to begin with.......

Hi Mike,
yours is not a Texas Aggie (sorry Kevin), but from Italy
The FL-53 by Meteor SpA which company later became I.I.I. (Initiative Industrali Italiane, still producing the Arrow high wing 2-seater).

If correct OH please

The Dutch Eagle swoops mercilessly...............:icon29: .........although I could be picky - Jane's has the agricultural version of the FL53 listed as the FL55 :mixedsmi:

Okay, here is an interesting one. Sorry about the "stylized" photo. All that exists for it I think.

Edit: Found a better photo.

Spot on John. :guinness: Note the roots at the bottom of the fuselage where the wings used to be attached. A one-off experiment.

Think John must be off doing his Christmas shopping - or else he's under eight feet of snow, judging by the reports we're getting here........

Hope he doesn't mind if I nip in with this little trainer.

No need to feel lonely. Already had a cursory look at your newest (with no luck yet!).

I have a bunch of stinkers in the queue. Just wanted to give someone else a chance with the last OH.

Hmmm, and I thought everyone was out shopping for me. :jump: I did declare Open House, so I don't mind at all that you slipped one in.

Nothing but dead ends. A clue would be helpful here. Speaking for myself though. :kilroy:

Judging from the windblown chap, it might be a German (or possibly Freddie Mercury's father)...
