• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

A slightly revitalised Lefty will leap into the breach here - 'cos this one is right up Kevin's street, or rather over his border.

It's the T.N.C.A. MTW-1 from Tequilaland......

(You left a familiar-looking shield on the tail, dear boy, which Sherlock pounced upon!)

BTW, OH, OK ? TTFN

Belated :icon29: for John on the Loughead. Yes, been out all day with the oldest boy doing some Santa duties.

As far as the canard floater goes, yes I went with the Aerofiles description.

It was designed for aero-club use, but serious design flaws earned it the nickname "aerial coffin", and all examples were removed from service and scrapped. 25 built. Of the 5 models of aircraft this firm designed and/or brought to prototype stage, this is the only one which saw any production.

Well, this one has lasted the longest of any I've put out there - do I see any white flags or should we let this one sit a bit longer??? Kevin, you've been quiet for this one - care to take a stab at it?

I thought Walter would have picked this one off, but I was wrong. This is the IMPA Tu-Sa.

Next: This one probably could probably out-roll a Sukhoi Su-26 with those full span ailerons. :mixedsmi:

Hi all! Hope you're all doing well - how's that sore throat, Lefty?
I don't have time to post much - RL commands - but do visit on a regular basis, and mysteries usually remain mysterious to me. Not this one, though: Kellner Béchereau E1.

100% sure, so OH, please! ;)

Yann! Good to see you. Thanks for ending John's reign of terror.

Lot of OH these days. Will jump in with a airliner-
