• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Not to the best of my knowledge, BG. The designer of this one was killed, but the basic design was further developed under another name.

I doubt we will ever know the real color. Blue sounds nice to me!

How about this grief stricken monoplane? Don't get too bent out of shape on it...

I apologise in advance for posting this - a very boring GA specimen -but I'm getting a bit desperate....

Hi Mike :salute:
Nothing boring about the Nihon (Itoh) N-62 Eaglet, I think
Can you disclose which JA is on the side?

This is N31AE, the Omega III of 1997 by Brent Brown. Work started 1962 as the Palomino single-seater by San Antonio Aviation Co and registered N40J. In 1966 N40J became a tandem 2-seater by Palomino Aircraft Associates. Development was halted till 1994 when N40J became the Omega II by Integrated Systems Aero Engineering. They sold 12-13 kits, but all were recalled. Seems N31AE was the only one to be completed, as Omega III. Quite a development considering the original N40J had a 100h engine and N31AE a 280hp Continental.

Since I`m in a selfish moody, today try this one.
