A 'tringle' is a rod, so possibly 'tringlerie' is a linkage - at least that sounds the most likely & is what Google translates it as.

I'll try to submit something within today as soon as the heat subsides....by the way can you tell me what is the meaning of "chucking down"? Webster gives me 5 meanings (pat, toss, discard, dismiss, give up) but none of them applies...do you simply mean "it's raining"?

Yes, BG, you know how the Inuit have 50 words for snow, well, here in Scotland we have about 500 for rain........'chucking it down' means the same as bucketing, lashing, pelting, stotting, pi**ing down, etc etc.

And the reason for today's weather ? Yesterday I helped my neighbour install an automatic watering system........ :banghead:
