The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Chris-
I have it as Bellanca's third effort that first flew May, 1912. (According to my notes anyways).

Close enough for me.

Your historical lineage may vary!

This is in Aerofiles but there is no picture for it.

Wouldn't it be nice if Aerofiles was like Wiki I believe we could fill in most of the blanks.

Chris

I agree about Aerofiles, Chris. We nearly lost it some time ago......trouble is, updating, with photos, you run into the old copyright problem.

After some digging, have come up with the Durand A-45. (Did a search on Szekely....)

Obviously a 3-cylinder motor, Chris - and around the 30's Szekely were the most likely makers.

This one is a bonny floater -

What a pain, Chris:wavey:
well, you didn’t look far
I would be curious to know if there is another trace of your craft somewhere else
The registration is NX18288, but I found that useless.

Could it be this?

La Porte Aircraft Co 1938 Monoplane

In 1938 the La Porte Aircraft Co built a two place, high wing, cabin monoplane designed by Vernon Payne.

Power was a 45hp Continental A-45.

Uli that's probably it only info I had was designed by Vernon W Payne wasn't under Payne in Aerofiles.

Good work thought it would take longer.

Chris

then it IS in aerofiles :encouragement:

Let's move one with something from the plastic age, probably out of wout’s terrain?

Hi giruXX:encouragement:

She is from Chile and started as Model A.L. (Avion Liviano), but was soon renamed by ENAIR (ENAER (Empresa Nacional de Aeronáutica de Chile) asECH-02 (ECH-002) Ñamcu.
The EE-10 Eaglet was an improved variant developed in my country by ENAIR-Europe (EuroEnair) and two aircraft received a PH-registration. PH-EAG was the former CC-PZL which was transferred to the Netherlands. It was followed by PH-ABG which was built in Holland.
After the programme was halted in 2002, PH-EAG went to the Delft Technical University and PH-ABG was returned to Chile where she became CC-PBZ and she ended in the Musea Aeronautica collection.

This is a one-of that was built as "personal transport". Original design and first flown 40+ years ago
