That egg looks like its a model - the engine looks like a model deisel.
As for the M-B1 I should have had the courage of my convictions....Ah well!

Indeed, this seems to be a mock-up or an artist’s impression of the real thing. The picture is from the presentation map of the aircraft. It was actually built and flown (and still exists). The general layout should give it away. Please ignore engine and propeller. Sorry my fault.

It seems to me that the company wanted to compete with home-builts, but that effort failed. :sorrow:Nevertheless, a company with that famous name still prospers in the aerospace business.
 
Is this aircraft (or a derivative?) in a museum in a famous seaside city and in a museum devoted to aircraft which donot mind getting wet feet and bearing a famous pre-war name?
The ohoto I got even shows a registration, but the craft has somewhat different lines (less eggie).
 
A one-off with existing parts (Walt would be proud, I assume) and own design features.

C-FSEV is from Canada and called the Betts Alliance. Mike Betts used the wings, horizontal tailplane, flaps, landing gear of a Mooney M-20C and combined this with
the composite fuselage of an Express Aircraft Auriga Express.
The one-off was later sold in the USA and became N93AL
