The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Thank you Chris:encouragement:
Hi Carlo:encouragement:. Pleae share the DS-1 pics with us. I am sure there are not that many on the net.

Next challenge is, I admit, a homebuilt but she was given the name of a very well-known designer/company that is still in business.

O... started his company when the country had a different name than nowadays. Of course she has one of my engines.
Here is a photo in colour with a hint :biggrin-new:

Walter, I presume that says 'Oleg Antonov', presumably the name of this machine ? The tail unit is pure Orlican, or similar Czech machines, but apart from that, I've no idea!

Hi Mike:very_drunk:
As so often your presumption is correct. The aircraft is named Oleg Antonov in honour of the (now) Ukrainian designer. Although at the time of birth (1985) she had the Soviet Union nationality when L.F. Matenyak completed his aircraft. Engine is a 105hp Walter Mikron-4

Thanks Walter ( a modest knowledge of what my old pal calls Acrylic Script comes in handy !)
It's aggy time - here's a messy-looking one....

Indeed, Walter :very_drunk: - a modified version of the Kruk, sent for testing in the good ol' USSR. This from a Czech book, so it's an Eastern bloc mishmash !

Thank you Mike:loyal:. Does she have a name/designation in Acrylic of Czech?
My next challenge is a high wing canard cabin pusher floatplane.

That hits just about all the bases. Now you just need to edit the pic to make it "Moses-grainy" :biggrin-new:

I found it as "Floatplane version of the NLA FT-300 three-seat lightplane" from China. First flight with floats in November 1994.

Thanks, Uli! :ernaehrung004:
Interesting and probably rather simple retracting mechanism. Wondering about the source of the photo, information about the Reppert in the WWW is close to nil...

Here is another light plane, sorry for the grainy pic.
