The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Any time you want a Piper clone ID'd, Robert, look no further..........:a1310:

(Seriously, the reason for my answer - I normally lose the will to live when machines like this turn up - is that somewhere in the dark recess of the mind, those three stripes struck a chord...)

Time for the water -

Hi Lefty!
I was going to compete with you on the Partenavia but you were so very quick….anyway the present mystery must be a Martinsyde Type A Mk.II
Cheers
Carlo

Thanks Lefty!
I give you an overview of temperatures (Arezzo area) for the next few days:
Thu 28° Fri 30° Sat and Sun 32° Mon and Tue 34° (Having said that over the last three days we could breath again with cooler temperatures and fresh winds)
Ok here I go with my next mystery (sorry for the poor pic but I couldn't find a better one)
Cheers
Carlo

I.A.R.15?

I think it was last summer we had a week of 44-45 deg.C.
My brother-in-law (who wasn't well) died in his flat as a result - ambulance officers "estimated" the temperature was around 49 deg.C inside. For some inexplicable reason he never turned his air-conditioning unit on.

Tis a hot planet in places.

If you fellows are feeling the heat, you are very welcome to join me in the East of Scotland, where, after a few false starts, we are still waiting for summer to arrive !

Currently a bracing 14°C and breezy....and you wonder why we drink warm beer.....

I hate to deprive Carlo of another hit, but this looks like the Ambrosini A.R. (Assalto Radioguidato - flying bomb) to me.

Mi dispiace,Carlo...

Continuing the single-radial-engine theme -
Non ti preoccupare (don't worry) Lefty I'll take my Revenge now...this is a DAR10 (I don't know if she's the version A or F because they are both externally alike)
Cheers
Carlo

Spot-on, Carlo ! :very_drunk:

This was the prototype-DAR 10A (registered 1/7076) prior to testing by Ings Popganchev and Lazarov, whom I presume are the two gentlemen in raincoats, despite a sunny day....

Over to Tuscany.
