This is the first prototype of an aircraft which received a big Lycoming engine when produced in series later on.

Not quite, but close enough to me.
It is the precursor Do 25 of which two prototypes existed and which was developed into the Do 27.

Found this picture of the Shaw Flying Boat in an ebay auction, seems to be the same aircraft and location.

It is the Shaw. Not much built after this.

Here's something different - we haven't had a chopper for a while, and this is a nice neat little number..

If accepted as correct open house please. I like to look in to see what weird & wonderful aircraft have been made, but I don't have a data base from which to choose anything to baffle you stalwarts!

It's certainly an Auster and its roots are in the Autocrat - but it's not an Autocrat, nor is it powered by a Cirrus engine.

How about the Auster Avis G-AJXW with Gipsy Major ?

The clue here is the odd placement of the lower strut attachment point compared to all other Austers.
