The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Right - I was holding off here, because I was in the middle of a PC crisis necessitating a new hard drive - for some reason completely lost the use of my mouse, and NOTHING we could do would restore it !

Anyway, we're back to normal with a snazzy new SSD - gosh they're quick - so I can ID Dan's flitterbug as the Croses EC-1.

I believe this is a very rare photo of the LeO H-27?

LeO H-27 it is - even the rare photos aren't safe from the Texan wizard..... over to Moses :icon29: . Has it cooled down there yet ??

Not a Nieuport. From a company known for making flying boats. Designed to deliver the mail in 1921. Problem was, there was not much cargo space for mail!

I think I have it Moses! on the basis of your clues and although I couldn't find any pic I would say Besson H6....
Cheers
BG

Thanks Moses.

Yes Ferry
that's what it was The 中島キ43.

Considering how proficient you gentlemen are I must seek for more adequate "mysteries" next time...and now please do surprise us with something really first rate....
BG

well, I saw '43' in the text a few times, so it was either 1943 or Ki-43. It looked to 'old' for 1943 so it had to be Ki-43; Google Translate did the rest.. ;)

The ' 中島' (Nakajima) is the first word in the text so that confirmed it for me.

Don't know if I can come up with anything somewhat difficult, but here's a beefy looking aircraft for you guys:
