The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

I like this one as well Walter. The Baker BCA-1-3.

Aerofiles entry:

[h=2]Baker[/h]
Gil Baker. Location unknown.BCA-1-3 Amphibian 1968 = 2pChwMAm; 180hp Lycoming O-360; span: 32'6" length: 25'0" v: x/92/60; ff: 5/x/68. Gross wt: 2050#. POP: 1 [N4283C].

Hi Kevin :salute:
Very correct and enjoy the :icon29:

I got the picture (long time ago) from Gil Baker. Did you know that the aircraft started out in 1962 as the BCA-1 with had a conventional configuration, not unlike the Lake series. It became the BCA-1-2 when the original Lycoming O-290 was replaced by an O-360 and then finally the BCA-1-3 on the photo. The aircraft retained the N4283C registration in all forms.

Your turn please

Interesting on the Baker Walter.

Here is a moody tourer...

The IDP FG-8 Guanabara from Brazil.

Originally a license-built Fokker S.12 (Nose gear version of the S.11).

Thanks! had to get rid of the idea of Hillers to find it... looks like they borrowed some ideas.

While on the chopper-flopper theme

BTW, there's an obscure Canadian connection in this one

The :canada: connection is to the Avro Arrow. There's a shared surname associated with both the CF-105 and this helicopter

Gotcha ! It's the PZL-Swidnik BZ-4 "Zuk" :poland:

Designed by B Zurakowski. His namesake, Janosz 'Zura' Zurakowski, was test pilot for the CF-105.

Thank you, Rob (not supposed to be drinking this week, but, seeing it's you....cheers!)

Here's something older.
