• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

The Russian Avsim.ru Site

I have been on the Russian Avsim.ru site D/L many Russian Aps, they are just great, these gifted folks have created Siberia that has come alive. There are Russian bases with TU-22 bombers, and many others of great interest I highly recommend it I can now fly over Siberia and can always find a base or airport to land in.

Thanks for the H/U Casey, I'll check them out. I have Burevestnick Airfield, it's not in Siberia but on Ostrov Iturup in the Sakhalin island chain. Desolate area but the package comes with an AFCAD set-up and a nice assortment of AI's: An-12, An-26, Yak-40, and Mi-8 and Mi-24 helos. Set your traffic level to about 50% or higher. The flight sim field actually looks better than the real field which looks pretty derelict on Google Earth.
