The "Spitfire K5054 90th Anniversary Circumnavigation of the UK: May 2026" event

Pete, any idea where I can find the AH Seafire? I've looked in all the usual places, & have come up blank.
I can find plenty of A.F. Scrub's Seafires but not the AH one.

Buddha13 did a cfs2 conversion ; its in library here; or at Simviation Danny Garnier tweeked a version to portover for FSX which is exactly same as fs9 one

Sounds like you have about as many Spitfires in your Hangar as I do. :) Welcome! I have not flown online using the SOH servers, so I will study how to do that this week.
I do have, yes. The Real Air XIV is a brute, the AH XVIII is also a handful(I use a "live" rudder).Chris and Sesshi's PR.XI is also a nice flyer too. I've always wanted the Plane Design XVI,Dispatch Dragon( the late Leif Harding)had a go in it and said that it was superb. I've d/l'ed "Merlin 66"'s CFS 2 XVI,so I'll be yelling for help to make that play in Fs9.

FSX/FS2004 – Spitfire Tr.IX. ML407 flew a total of 176 operational combat sorties amassing an impressive total 319 combat hours.

Shame this texture set can't be made to play with the AH Tr.9. I don't know of any other paints to suit the AH Tr.9 either.

Don't worry about repainting anything at this stage. Bring a TR9 if you have one, or any Spitfire if you don't. Just come and fly! :)

My main problem is my lack of flying skills :censored:. Especially flying VFR with the prototype and navigating is a challenge. At the first stage I already landed at the wrong airfield..... The air traffic controller was very helpful, but instead of landing at Coningsby I ended up at the runway of Cranwell. The only excuse I have is that the runway is more or less oriented in the same direction.

The second stage was easier as the coast line was recognisable and there weren't much other airfields to visit ;).

Now up to Lossiemouth......... As a born optimist, I think it shouldn't be too hard to find!

Cheers,
Huub
