Tim Conrad Morane Saulnier MS760 for FS9 FS2004 - ms760 fs2004 tim piglet conrad

Tim "Piglet" Conrad's wonderful Paris jet now in FS2004.

Conversion was done to my best ability, that means getting the VC working as best I could.
Ive also adjusted the flight dynamics with A.I to get the most accurate flying with the available data. The original dynamics were very usable but with these updates it can effectively, "fly to the numbers."

The aircraft dynamics are based on the slightly heavier and more powerful MS.760B II as this is the version most common today and the...

Given that it is well over ten years since Tim decided to leave the world of flight simulation, and that many people have tried and failed to contact him since then, it is extremely unlikely that anyone will get Tim's permission to do anything with his models.

Even so, we still must abide by any restrictions or comments as stipulated in his docs/readme's, should there be any,

Those skins linked on the "Read More About This Resource" page are for a different model.

Nah, thei’re just for the Base (FSX) model… so you only need to convert them with DXTBMP… and they will work… as you see in my pics above… i’ve used exactly those linked files… and just converted them back to FS9… works like a charme…

Also, does that thingy have afterburners or something? would look awesome… on those small engines…
I’ve yet only installed the smoke which you’ll also find on avsim.

Btw. i need to work on the Alpha channels as of yet the FSX versions only have Alphas on the Wingtip Tanks and the Canopy.. but not on the Fuselarge and the Wings themselfs… as you can see on my pics above… still looks a bit iffy to me… so will eventually work on them a bit

I am trying to decide which Morane-Saulnier MS760 to keep.
Both models are good, Piglet’s model on top, Ito’s below:

The main difference is in the flight characteristics, the work done by Anels9 is excellent, the Piglet Conrad model he has converted to FS9 flies just about perfectly to published specs (Max speed 350 Kts Overspeed warning comes on at around 360 Kts), the Ito model is happy to accelerate up to 560 Kts with no speed warning. Cruise is meant to be 310 Kts.

I would say the Ito model is overpowered. But some like it hot…

The clincher for me was the civilian texture included in the Piglet model (n67x). I tried without success to convert the FSX Italian texture I-SNAI and could not find the nice blue textured N626TC Airbasil posted.
Maybe someone could post both textures in FS9 format.(y)

Thanks a lot Anels9 for the conversion it will be the one I keep, the Ito can rest in my duplicates folder; as my Granny used to say: “It might come in handy, even if I never use it”.

Piglet's model is the more accurate, actually spot on, which is to be expected of course. Something suspect about the nose on Itosan's.

My Ito model flight like a good MS760 but there is still work to do on range and lighting.
The panel is with lcd screens too like some MS760 on the civil market. Could be nice to have this kind of modern panel for the Conrad one.
