Wait until you fly around it before.... well, you know.

I have just one big worry about it and that's the Landclass. With so many different texture sets out there it's really hard to judge how it's going to come out on other peoples rigs... Wait and See Time. Worse comes to worse I'll put out an alternate LC for the area...

Well, make it an Aussie beer, under the circumstances! Just one question Pen, does this package require us to delete the original PM?
 
Rav, the bgl's included will do just that. The landclass BGL gets rid of the blob and an exclude that gets rid of the runway. There's just no two ways about it. It's right in the way. The big brown blob would have impacted both 12-Mile Berry and 14-Mile Schwimmer.

There's instructions on how to make the transition easy and you actually replace the Stock PM runway entry in the airbases.dat and leave the Runway Number and ID the same. Changing missions is a snap, I've done a few dozen. Literally a click, a drag and a save.:ernae:
 
I may already have them installed, but for the life of me I can't find Xavier's cfs2hangars.zip . I found and put in your airfield buildings and everything else I already had installed.
 
Try this one, xbp_japan_2006.zip I think they're in this zip too.

I don't see his hangar zip there anymore, it was there.....???

 
For the life of me I can't find the mr_af_nielson_objects. I've searched the "scenery" and "other" sections by file name and author name.:help:

If any of you guys see anything weird with the Landclass (textures) around the PM area let me know. I've already got an alternate LC bgl ready to go out the door if needed.

I probably publish it anyway but JFMI. Like I said, there are a million different texture sets and mod's to them so it's sort of hit and miss deal creating LC BGL's. Everyone is always going to see something a little different unless their texture sets are exactly the same.

The new one goes right along with the Pactex2 Reconfiguration I posted yesterday, which brings PacTex2 back in line with the intended LC's. Which also makes it perfect for those that still use stock textures.

As Pen32win mentioned, I also did another pack of hangars that is integrated with the Japan scenery, but I think Pen32win has stuck to the cfs2hangars.zip. Anyway, if you see an error message saying that an object called with a name starting by "inf_jp_hangar..." then it means that is an hangar of my Japan package.

Thank for the clarification on that X. I d/l’ed them so long ago I forgot they were actually two different sets of hangars. You’re right it’s the ones in the “Japan” package I’ve been using. I’ll fix this in my READ ME’s. Thank You.

Second Objects Package???

I don't have any new Objects Packages planned until I go back to Midway to rebuild it. Those objects are recreations of buildings specific to Midway. Is that what you're thinking of? I won't even start on that until after July.

EDIT: Pen I got your landclass to show up just fine now - unlike the pic below... sorry about that. You may have to mention again that the CFS2\scenerydb\world\texture files should be copied to the CFS2\texture folder. Placing your package higher in priority over any other landclass package for the area within the scenery library will enable it to show up correctly.

speaking of library's, on start up I'm missing " af_ammobunker_lg " and " af_sm_rvtmnt1_brn ". I've added the following packs:

AF_AA_Pak2.zip
af_cstdef2.zip
AF_BnkrPak.zip
AF_afldbld1.zip
mr_af_nielson_objects_pak.zip

and have gone back to them and checked the contents.... the missing file aren't in them.

There aren't different versions of the AF packs floating around in the download library is there ?

This scenery is terrific .... thank you sooooo much buddy ! :jump:
