Wow, Terrific animation sequence. That was a masterful job of maintaining control of the aircraft and nice ditch. Well done Sully!!

Miracle on the Hudson
Description: Based on an actual event, this mission puts you in the role of US Airways Captain Chesley B. "Sully" Sullenberger III as he attempts to safely land an airplane that has lost thrust in both engines.

</center> Captain Sullenberger's Airbus A320 struck a flock of geese shortly after takeoff from New York's La Guardia airport, disabling both engines of his aircraft. You have just seconds to decide what to do. Two airports are tantalizingly close to you. Can you make it to a runway, or will you have to ditch your aircraft into the Hudson River?

This mission features actual recordings of the conversation between the LaGuardia International control tower and the stricken aircraft. These recordings were released to the public by the Federal Aviation Administration on February 5, 2009. This version also adds accurate weather parameters.

Wow. That flock of geese was visible on radar from two different sites! If you watch that data play back in the second video, it appears two other planes almost hit this same flock of geese!

First movie was good, shows just how busy an aircrew is after take-off. The third movie down really shows the intensity of the entire situation of all of those involved, including the two helicopters reporting Cactus 1549 was in the water. Almost prophetic, Captain Sulley noting the condition of the Hudson River that day.

This is some incredible work, thank you for the head's up.
