• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Very strange!

Quite suddenly my keyboard-selected spot-views have reversed!

Normally, selecting "7" on the numbers keypad yields a view from the forward-left (port) side.
Normally, selecting "8" on the numbers keypad yields a nose-on view (from ahead of the nose).
And so on.

Now, selecting "7" on the numbers keypad yields a view from the aft-right (starboard) side.
Now, selecting "8" on the numbers keypad yields a tail-on view (from behind the tail).
And so on.

In other words, the views have flipped.

I have searched ASSIGNMENTS and VIEWS and cannot see where I can effect a change. I'm guessing perhaps there is something in one of the many FS9 cfgs but again, have not found anything.

Please help, if you can.

With a small screwdriver, gently prize off the two said keys from your numpad (most keyboards can do this) and swap them over, job done. Just remember this when using them for other tasks:d

Joking aside, no idea bar some kind of 'invert mouse' option that has affected them?

Hey Jamie, I was thinking I just might have to fetch the ol' screwdriver!

But persistence pays (sometimes :icon_lol: )..........

Views\View Options then select "Spot Plane"
Under "3-D Preview" go to "Type" and select either Roll or Loop

Inexplicably, mine was set to Fixed.

Happy spotting!
