Virtavia Mi-24D Hind ... Released

IIIIii dont know.. I spent some time in simulators for the bell jet ranger and wasnt ever able to even get it off the ground without crashing. I can fly this thing.. Now, I really dont think my chopper piloting skills have improved over the years, but who knows.. its still a fun bird to fly..

And as you can see in that screenshot, Pam....more ground is visible out the window on the left...while on the ADI gauges, more ground (brown) is visible on the right. It's backwards. :)

backwards yes, but more importantly the wrong gauge.. let me pull up the P-61 as an example.. I believe it has a similar gauge.
Yup same gauge, just without the pretty colors and its backwards.. Someone miss a minus sign??? I mean, unless someone can show evidence that this gauge actually exists, i'm more likely to take it as an insult not only to the peoples of the countries represented, but the members of this community as well.. I know how meticulous Robert has been with the P-61 and i know his gauge is right.. So that leaves the conclusion that the attitude gauge in the mil-24 is backwards.. hopefully there'll be an update correcting this..

Great example Dain. thank you. although i agree that with the modified WWII gauge in the MI-24 displays backwards in relation to what it should be showing, I really like the russian gauge above as it gives you actual bank angle, and the effective bank angle ( again, i'm being weak on terminology. perhaps vectored bank angle?) Its much more exacting.
Sadly though, that is not what we're seeing in the hind..

You're welcome.
Just passing along what the manual stated.
Only explanation I could give, but I agree with you and Sean.
Seems like a lot of gauges don't work as they should in this one.
The engine RPM gauge just stays pegged at 100% for example.
The blade AOA gauge is a nice thought, but sadly not synced properly either, IMHO.

It is quite an easy flyer.
It's nice for long NOE flights.

We went back and forth on the Attitude gauge during development. Watch videos. This one is somewhere between Western style and Russian style. Drove me nuts since I know the difference but this is correct. And because of that I don't know why that graphic on the differences remained in the manual since it didn't show how this one works.

as usual.....painters sell these things and I wish the Dev's would recognize that more. Thanks to these paints I will be picking this one up.
