Thank you Dougal!
I can understand the confusion now that you mention it - we were originally never going to do any of the P-51D-5-NA's, as it would be too much work to fit into the original Little Friends product (which would have only seen about one or two included), and because making a product featuring D-5-NA's alone, after already having WWII-era Mustangs available with Little Friends, didn't sound worthwhile. That was until after we discovered so many interesting examples that were D-5-NA's, and the fact that none had ever been properly made before for any Microsoft-based Flight Sim (save for one or two, which were called D-5-NA's simply because they didn't have the dorsal fin fillet). So Little Friends II was born - which wasn't in the plans when Little Friends (now considered Little Friends I) was taking shape, otherwise the name would have originally indicated this.
I'm always glad to see sales like these! Although financially it doesn't do much for me, if it gets more people 'into' these aircraft, I'm very, very happy about it! As has been discussed, there is quite a plethora of repaints out there for Little Friends (I) (and II), by quite a lot of repainters in fact. I think it would be a great idea for me to put together a data base of them all, so that every last one can be easily found - taking this a step further, I'd also like to organize them by Fighter Group.
