Water spray effects

yeah , found that aswell. But i don't have rex.
Anyway, i loaded it without anything in community. (renamed the folder.)
Simfx is also known to make these kind of problems. I neither have that one.

Ok, I tested my system with & without SimFX, it does actually work with both however, why I thought it wasn't working for me is that I think the sim wasn't registering my local airports grass parking area as being dirt. It only works in certain parts of that parking area for some reason.
The effects are working on other dirt areas & the grass strip & I am also getting water effects on lakes, haven't yet tested wet runway/taxiway surfaces. I also don't think these effects are as intense as they were prior to SU16. One of my go to freeware aircraft effects wasn't working without SimFX so I think there is a config setting set wrong in that plane.
 
I got the effects worked out. Starting with an empty community folder wasn't enough. I had to start the thing in safe mode first for them to come back.
After that it was a slow process to put addons back and it turned out to be an airplane. Weird stuff. After that all is peachy again except for the fact that there are still purple textures at EHAM.
And appearantly we had pyramid building Pharaos in the west of the Netherlands.
