• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Long time Flight Simulator participant and contributor Wayne Tudor unexpectedly died yesterday. Wayne was well known for his beautiful textures, as well as for his flight dynamics. He will be missed. Bill
 
Oh dear, I am very sorry to hear this. He was a true gent and great contributor and will be missed.
 
Oh no! I'm shattered! Wayne was such a gentle man, a real gentleman. He allowed me to adopt his DC-6 flame and smoke effects to use them for JBK's DC-6 and Canadair C-5 and make these modified effects available. Also advised me on a DC-6 and CL-215 sound set I had developed (i,e. the sound.cfg) from David Copley's soundset for Milton's A-26 Invader.

Besides all that he was a true artist devoted to our community.

I sure will miss Wayne in flightsimland. Thank you, Wayne. Rest in Peace.

I am most surprised and saddened to hear this news as well. Wayne has been a great contributor to our community for many years. I am very pleased to have many of his paint schemes for the D18S, a refreshing quality to them all.

RIP Wayne; you will be missed.

I always looked forward to finding Texture sets posted up by Wayne. This is sad news indeed for the Flight Sim community and I offer my condolences to his family.
