    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Claudeus ,I almost forgot whats that instrument for in the Couger that is brought up in when you hit the fuel gauge icon?It has different regions on it and kind of looks like some kind of ADF.Any real function or is it just for show? Thanks

Methink you mean the simicon with a kind of jerrycan :)
AFAIK this is a kind of simplified TACAN
When in the region of the airports (you have 3 operations regions and you can choice wich airport) so when selected you can find the bearing to the airport .. by flying the plane to have the hand pointing up (on the up dot of the circle)
