Willy's Flight of the Gee Bee to Oz

Well, I am having some panel & radio problems. Fortunately there's this Sikorsky S43 parked over by the KLM hanger that no one seems to want to claim. Looks to have everything I need in it....

If you find my "Celine Dion's Greatest Hits" CD in there, keep it safe, I'll pick it up in Melbourne...

H! How's it going?

Should be picking up the ADF signal for WRKK here in a bit.

It was a nice early morning flight over the Timor Sea. Left WRKK a little after 4 am in a pre-dawn take off. The sun came up enroute and somebody who was supposed to be flying the plane nodded off. I woke up directly over the airfield in Darwin still at 10,500ft. Just put it over into a tight turn and dive and circled my way down to approach altitude and entered the pattern like I do it like that every time. A few smallish bounces on landing and rolled to a stop just over 2 hours from when I took off... Wonder what they eat for breakfast in Oz?
