Winwing Orion2 throttle (UK bargain)

Orion 2 base with F-18 throttle grips currently available in UK for 181 GBP, direct from Winwing.
Mine took just 3 days to arrive :)
They have the F-15 grips for slightly more but on back-order (over a month).
If you need a joystick you get an extra discount on the bundle.

I was looking at S/H Warthog throttles on EBAY for not much less, then Amazon reduced the new one to 180 but then I found the Orion for almost the same price and a much newer design...was concerned it would take a month to come from China, but just 3 days from Manchester.

First impressions are very impressive - it's HUGE, much more than just a throttle...slightly daunting even!

FS24 doesn't map anything by default and I still find it a nightmare to map in the FS24 menus...the Winwing software (SimAppPro) does offer a mapping file for FS24 to download but I haven't been able to get that to take effect. :(

It seems AxisAndOh's or similar is the best option...one vote below for AxisAndOh's...

Copied from a reply by jmig on the T-38 thread:
Keith, I have never used Simapppro. I have used FSUIPC, SPAD.next, and Axis & Ohs. For me, Axis & Ohs is mostly easy and powerful. For a beginner the UI is rather easy to learn. It is, however, powerful under the hood. With it you can write custom Scripts to do anything you want. I have found that using the Event viewer, Variables viewer, and the Behavior tool from the Dev's menu I can find just about anything. ... If you go the Axis & Ohs route this kid 's videos are very educational. I have been using third party addons for 30 years, ever since the early versions of FSUIPC. This kid taught me in an afternoon more than I have learned in 30 years.

This first thing I want to do beyond simple mapping is to get the AzurePoly Jaguar HUD and Weapons panel onto the HOTAS, but there are no key-presses for this, just mouse clicks...sounds like A&O will facilitate this.
