Hummm... Getting it unstuck. When my Father-In-Law taught me to fly his Luscombe Seaplane the trick was to use your wake. You would taxi down wind, turn 180 and start your take-off run back up along the inside of one of the wakes you'd just made. First you would get the pontoons up on the step, build some speed and then you would jump one off the wake. After a moment to let the speed build up some more, you would jump the second one off the wake, and you'd be airborne.
