Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

well im not claiming those pics are mine....not in the least...that wasnt the point,,,,now i feel bad...i was just saying how workin woodie was a northern california creation..and i happened to be around when it first debut'd ,and well ernie was a local hero and i like to share,,and i think anyone that knows sprint car racing knows who Jimmy Sills is..and he happens to be a "local " also....and the pic is of him at grass valley...my early stompin ground...these come from a Facebook page where several of us are trying to reopen the track at the nevada county fairgrounds, the man who pushed for many years to get it shut down died, and the oppositsion has died with him..its just a mater of convincing the new fairboard it would be a "good thing" to do.the pics are being posted to spread around and share with other racing fans.

but i do in fact have a large collection of pics from west capitol speedway, placerville, chico, auburn, grass valley and roseville..i also have pics of the speedway bikes from the state fairgrounds in sacramento..guys like my friends steve and mike bast..
