Yakovlev Yak-28 'Brewer-E' ?

Hi Mario! Somebody asked about the Yak-28 a few months ago and I don't think anybody has made one. Other than the MiG's we still need more Russian jets from the 1950's/60's.

TARPSBIRD - I'm with you on that - wasn't there a different version of this aircraft with a huge, rounded radome, two tandem seats and underwing engines, maybe called a Yak-25? I think Revell did a kit of that aircraft some time ago. I'd like to see one of those as well.

Perhaps you are thinking of the Ilyushin Il-28? There are one or two of those available at Avsim.com, but that site appears down at the moment..?

Edit: Flightsim.com has them too, look for 'ilyil28t.zip' and 'ilyuil28.zip' by Ralf Kreibich.

SSI01, you are correct, Yak-25 Flashlight/Mandrake. Good call on Revell being the maker of the kit, I was thinking Aurora.
