Zsolt! Fantastic. One thing, don't forget the interior gun radome! otherwise looks perfect! :D

The very first Fighter I ever worked on out of Tech School was the F-100. The 7272nd Flying Training Wing (Wheelus AB, Libya). I have yet to find anything useable for a repaint. Most photos are in B&W and color images are so small no details are recognizable. If anyone ever comes across something that can be used I'd be grateful.

You could try F-100.org or the 20th TFW site. Plenty there though detail close up is difficult. I remember talking to you about this one when I did it for the donationware one some years back because I borrowed your excellent paint kit. One question I have is that some 20th TFW aircraft look to be painted ADC grey - was that the case or was it just the photography??

Fantastic Gentlemen! Hope you're all thoroughly enjoying the Hun!! Looks like it to me! :jump: Dave, I've noticed that many B/W photos are terrible at transferring whether something was painted or simply not clean and reflective. Depending on cloud cover etc. The bare metal in BW can often times not look reflective at all even though it was to a certain degree.

Yea, that one would suffice for sure, although we had a different livery for the Training Wing which is what I was looking for. I rarely did anything with the 20th aircraft, they had their own maintainers so I can't say for sure. I know the 7272nd birds were all aluminum/bare metal.

Alternate FW-189 texture set.

DO NOT to replace the original texture set please. This is simply my take, based on my own flavor. Hope you enjoy. Uploading at SOH now. Should be available soon.
