Greg,

Xavierb sure did: Japanese vs. Soviet campaign reenacting the fights on the Mongolian border in 1939. See credits and installation instructions in file install_readme.rtf. Have fun.

I think it's only the IJAAF side, though. Is you wanted to fly it from the "Soviet" side, you'd have to "flip" the missions around, like I did with the Battle for Europe, which was originally a Luftwaffe-only campaign.

This battle is also known as the 'Nomonhan Incident'.

There is a campaign made by Xavierb :

Thank you Rami, that saves me a lot of time!

Well, I got the book a few days ago and started downloading aircraft from our Warbirds library sources. I came up a bit short, though. I still need to find, for example: Nakijima Ki-27; Mitsubishi Ki-10-I; Ki-15 (type 97); TB-3 4M-17.

I will search the links provided in the "old" K-G campaign, but I'm afraid many are gone. Any help from you folks on links or where to look for 30's Japanese and early Soviet downloads would be appreciated.

Did you really search the Library?

My old eyes missed Ki-15, Ki-10-I and Ki-27... :banghead: Thanks for the links :wavey:
I'm going to install the original XB campaign and see where it can be modified/improved. I would like the newest versions of the aircraft concerned and assuming the attention paid to the Chinese TO with the Flying Tigers, I expected more, newer versions of all aircraft involved.

I started downloading the files for this in the order they were presented in the documentation (didn't want to get mixed up which ones I had and had not downloaded) and then got a little sidetracked and haven't gotten back to it, but one of the planes, maybe the Br-20 but I can't remember for sure, was no longer available so I don't know what the substitute for it is. There was another version of whatever plane it was but that would mean editing the mission files to reference it. Maybe the plane in question is available on a different site than the one mentioned?

The Br.20 is still available here and comes with a Japanese skin: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?action=jump&catid=150&id=14011

I was working from a foggy memory before and was only guessing about the Br-20. Having now checked it is the Tupolev SB-2 which is no longer around and the provided link doesn't work. There are 2-3 alternatives but I'm not sure which, if any of them, is a good choice
