Fokker GI WIP

I'm no expert on the colors, but just wanted to say that it looks great and to ask if there's still going to be an FSX version?

Thank you very much :), I will try to implement it in FSX, need to speak with Huub or someone else for that because I have no experience in importing aircraft to FSX

Cockpit

Hereby another update on the Fokker Gi, this time about the cockpit. There is still work to be done (like the rudder pedals) but the rough texture is here, together with accurate inscriptions and completed gauges (except for the needles) Zoom in to see the inscription and gauges.

After this I have never heard anything anymore. I also think it was never released for War thunder.

But for those who are patient, I have seen another silhouette from a G.1 in this forum......

Cheers,

Je maakt het me niet gemakkelijk, Huub! :biggrin-new:

I believe this has been released for WarThunder, I've seen a video of it at least.

I thought so as well, but recently I came across a War thunder thread where they were still asking for one in the game. So I assume it has not been released.

Oh and when you don't (re-)post the image yourself I will do it for you. As there is much more known about the G-1 than for the T.V and it is a simple aircraft compared with a T.V you must be able to finish it in something like 4.5 years :biggrin-new: And as you have many parts already modelled for your D.21 and T.5 even 4 years might be feasible.........

Have a good weekend!

Even if this makes Daan's life a bit more difficult, I'm waiting on this one!! It's like a Dutch P-38!!

Cheers,

Hey I am sorry I completely forgot I had this thread, but yeah I released this in warthunder around 6 years ago on: https://live.warthunder.com/post/771718/en/ it doesn't work anymore but that doesn't really matter considering it has been released by warthunder in warthunder.

The plane they made isn't as detailed in the cockpit area but I did make a texture for the modelling detail they provided. https://live.warthunder.com/post/1109391/en/ I might still bring out the fokker g1 in fsx somewhere in future but I started this project when I was in highschool, I don't really have the same kind of time to work on this anymore :/ so I would say don't expect anything.

Oh and seeing as how the fokker TV was brought up I actually released my version of that as well on warthunder: https://live.warthunder.com/post/784068/en/ and while I did not do a cockpit for that I can tell you from experience that the externals were much easier to model than the fokker g1.
