BTW, these effects depend almost entirely on the capabilities of your particular video card as far as I can tell. These are DX filters.
There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I'll keep playing and see if I can come up with some awesome profiles.
Ok, this program has a lot of usefulness. Essentially what it is doing is adjusting the pixel light intensity based upon the surrounding pixels. Another way you can see this is when using the menus. You see it adjust the coloring on the fly.
Now, is this true bloom? Yes AND no. If for example you have the sun silhouetting the spar of an aircraft, the light will not necessarily "bleed through." However, there is the possibility this can be tweaked.... which is what I truly want to do. I'm going to dig into this some more.
The nice thing about this, is that it essentially simulates how the human eye interacts with light environments. What I mean is that when you are focused on a very bright object, other objects become seemingly darker. If you walk into a dark room, your eye will become accustomed to this particular level of lightness, so they adjust. This is what it does thus far.
Where this could be useful is when flying at night. I'm sure I'll need to adjust it further to make it do that. I'll keep playing and see if I can come up with some awesome profiles.
I certainly cannot take credit for that video. I actually saw this yesterday. What a coincidence that it just so happens that I stumbled onto this post!Great video Cody :friday:

One little thing though: I use FSScreen to take my screenshots, but when I use the printscreen key ENB saves the screenshot as well in the root FsX folder. At 5 Mb a piece that could fill my disk quite rapidly.
What I'm trying to figure out is what other effects FSX is supportive of before delving headfirst into all of the bloom settings.
