Schiphol 1940

Wow, very nice. Now you also need the KLM shaped bushes :d
It's looking very good. Looks like you don't get a lot of sleep.

I was searching on an old cd-rom from 2004 and came across this one. It's texture done by Sander de Cocq AKA SdQ, a former memeber of the OH. This was meant for Cfs2.

There's a heap of different buildings on this one!

(The uploading went like a breeze! What's changed?)

Hoi Cees,

This is absolutely jawdropping. :jawdrop: (with so many great screenies it makes my back hurt from picking it up from the floor every time :icon_lol: ). Amazing how well you caught the 1910-1930s built hotel, houses and buildings. :applause::applause::applause::applause:

This will be a delightful scenery. Thank you so much for making it.

Groeten / cheers,
Maarten :guinness:

Thanks Maarten. I can use some help with evaluating the size of the different buildings. I now often estimate the size using photographs. Two know and see more than one. Anyone who thinks he knows the old Schiphol reasonably well or who can tell how big a building is, is invited to beta test this one and let me know his findings.

Good grief !! Cees, this is fantastic.:applause:
Your Gmax skill is truly in high gear !! :running:
All those buildings are absolutely terrific and you certainly captured the thirties in them.

My Schiphol 1963 buildings were built at a much lower pace and I had a large learning curve there.

Compliments for this nice project. A historic event.

Groeten,
Jaap de Baare

You're going strong Cees. A wonderfull job.
Do you think it could be installed I FSX? I'd like to give it a go.....

Beste Jaap,

My buildings are not done in Gmax! I still use the old EOD! I can work in Gmax , but I don't like it that much. After all it's more the texturing that does the job!

Groet,

Cees

Ps.: Jaap, Rob en Maarten: dank voor de lovende woorden!

Cees

Hi Cees,

Built with EOD. I did not know that. But anyway , the result is fab.
And you are right, it's the textures that give the result.

I'm really looking forward to SPL 1940.
It is gonna be a winner :medals: for sure :applause:

Veel succes ermee.

Cheers,
Jaap

The 1940 version of Schiphol will force me to make a seperate install for GW3 again. For me it is impossible to make a choice between the 1963 version of Schiphol and the new 1940 version by Cees :isadizzy:

Huub

Same dilemma as Huub's. Means that I'll finally have to buy a new computer altogether.:isadizzy:

Groeten,
Maarten
